I’m so incredibly grateful for Lotus Behavioral Health. The staff was truly amazing—caring, supportive, and professional every step of the way. The group therapy sessions were not only helpful, but also enjoyable for her, creating a space where she felt safe, heard, and understood. The other kids were kind and encouraging, and the therapists were outstanding—compassionate, skilled, and truly invested in each teen’s growth. I’m beyond happy with the progress and commitment my teen has shown since starting there. She has grown into a stronger, more self-aware, and confident individual. Thank you, Lotus, for helping my teen become the best version of herself:)

I have been in this field for over 20 years, and finding a program as exceptional as Lotus Behavioral Health is rare. Their staff is truly dedicated, and the clinical team provides outstanding care. The clients I have referred there have had nothing but positive experiences. Mathew, the admissions coordinator, is incredibly helpful and genuinely cares about each family’s needs. If you’re looking for a compassionate, high-quality treatment center for a struggling teen, Lotus is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough positive things about Lotus Behavioral and their inpatient adolescent program. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was struck by the incredible attention to detail in their setup and the cleanliness of the facility… it’s clear they prioritize a safe and supportive environment for their patients.
Having worked in the mental health and substance abuse field for over 10 years, owning my own mental health program, and having my own personal journey through these struggles, I have a unique perspective on what it takes to create a truly impactful program. What stood out the most to me, beyond the impressive program itself, was the heart and passion of the CEO. You can tell that he genuinely cares about the work being done here, and that passion trickles down to his team. Everyone I encountered exuded warmth, empathy, and a true dedication to helping others.
I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to refer an adolescent to this program. Lotus Behavioral has created something truly impactful… a place where compassion meets professionalism, and where young people can find hope and healing. Highly recommended!

My son was at Lotus for a little over two months and greatly benefited from the experience.
It was surrounded by a loving and caring staff, to an extent that could not reasonably be expected.
It may have been a life-changing experience for him and we are deeply grateful to everyone at Lotus.

Lotus is a great place! It was our child's first time in a rehab facility, so we have nothing to compare to, but he had a good experience. They do group sessions two times a day, and individual therapy once a week (but could be more as needed I think). Family therapy too. It was an emotional experience sending our child there, but we did feel he was safe there and well taken care of. They do have quite a bit of free time (of course a bht/therapist/admin always present), for good or for bad. I know they are encouraged to use it well. They have around 1 arranged activity every day, like dog therapy 🥰, yoga, and music lessons (my child loved this part), horse therapy field trips etc. Your kid will beg you to bring them home but stay strong, they will learn a lot there even if they say they want to come home and don't like it. It is an "open door" facility which is nice because they don't feel quite as trapped. My child said the food was pretty meh, but that's okay. There were some downfalls that we didn't like as much, but the administrative team was always pretty responsive. So I give five stars, because I think it's one of the better facilities (caring staff) but it wasn't perfect in everything, just like many things. Nursing staff was great. Stay strong parent, take the step you need to for healing!

I am forever grateful for the transformative experience my child had at Lotus Behavioral Health. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were enveloped in a warm, nurturing environment that immediately put us at ease. The staff's genuine empathy, compassion, and dedication to each individual's well-being are truly remarkable.
Every team member seems handpicked to create a cohesive, supportive unit that provides constant care and guidance. They foster a positive, engaging atmosphere that encourages growth, healing, and self-discovery. The sense of peace and tranquility that permeates the facility is palpable, and I knew instinctively that my child was in capable, caring hands.
The staff at Lotus Behavioral Health are the embodiment of excellence. Michele’s passion, expertise, and unwavering commitment to her work are inspiring. She is magical! Markus's unique blend of charisma, humor, and kindness makes him an exceptional therapist who truly connects with each child. Markus is a rare gem who we adore! Emmanuel's gentle, loving approach has a profound impact on the kids, while Nadine's bright, sunny disposition illuminates the entire facility. Gabriel's exceptional skills and compassionate nature make him an invaluable asset to the team. Christie's warm welcome and caring demeanor set the tone for a comforting, supportive experience.
While I wish to acknowledge each staff member's remarkable contributions, I must emphasize that every individual at Lotus Behavioral Health plays a vital role in creating a holistic, healing environment. My child emerged from this experience a completely transformed person, and I am deeply thankful for the constant support, guidance, and love that was received during my child’s time at Lotus.
This extraordinary organization has become like an extension of our family, providing ongoing care, encouragement, and reassurance long after our initial visit. I wholeheartedly endorse Lotus Behavioral Health to any family seeking compassionate, expert care for their loved one.

When considering the impact of Lotus, the quote, “A team is only as good as its leader” comes to mind. In that vein, I don’t think you can truly understand Lotus until you know its leader and Executive Director, Gary Hazy. I worked with Gary for eight years and have known him for ten years. During that time, I have personally experienced Gary to be kind and compassionate while also being a tenacious leader. When it comes to doing what is right and best for kids, Gary has high expectations for himself and his staff. He does not accept excuses but is also there to support you every step of the way.
Unfortunately, I do not work with Gary any longer. However, I checked in with him when I heard a hurricane was forecasted to hit Orlando. It was no surprise to me to hear that Gary was at work with the kids and staff riding out the storm. Although all he had to sleep in was his office chair, he never complained about that once. Instead, he talked to me about his worries for the kids and their safety; he talked to me about his staff acknowledging their sacrifices to be there with the kids. To me, this illustration encapsulates who Gary is as a leader. He walks with you through and into the storm to ensure that kids are being well taken care of. With someone like this at the forefront of Lotus, it is without question that children are receiving services of the utmost quality.

I cannot find the words to express how wonderful Lotus Behavioral Health was for my child. We had tried other programs without success. Then, we were referred to Lotus and from the moment we arrived, I was moved by the amount of compassion and caring that the staff had for us as a family. It took some time and work to get to a point of recovery, it was worth it. If you ever find yourself needing these kinds of services, don’t waste any more time. The staff at Lotus is amazing and will work with you to help your child. I cannot thank them enough for getting us through a really rough time.

What an amazing place. Helped our teenage daughter, through her hardest time, the staff is amazing and attentive, always communicative and going the extra mile to ensure everything goes well. Clean place and even greater program and schedule. Yes, our daughter had to work hard and her program, but it takes effort not just from the staff alone. I would highly recommend Lotus!
